Nature-inspired algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks: A comprehensive survey

In order to solve the critical issues in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), with concern for limited sensor lifetime, nature-inspired algorithms are emerging as a suitable method. Getting optimal network coverage is one of those challenging that need be examined critically before any setup. Optimal not only minimizes consumption energy battery-driven sensors but also reduce sensing redundant information. this paper, we focus on optimization concerning WSNs. first half have briefly discussed taxonomy along problem domains second compared performance two getting The combined Improved Genetic Algorithm and Binary Ant Colony (IGABACA), Lion Optimization (LO). simulation results confirm LO gives better coverage, convergence rate faster than IGA-BACA.
